Holiday in Spain, Part Quatro: Granada

Oh, hey there! Remember when I told you I'd post about all of the cities we were going to see in Spain before we left? And then I got really busy and forgot to do that? Oh, and then I tried to cram 4 other cities into the blog 39 hours before we left?

Granada is our third city to visit on our holiday in Spain! At this point in the trip I expect to be fluent in Spanish (oh, it takes longer than three days for that to happen?).

The Alhambra Palace
The Alhambra Palace was built in the mid-14th Century. f-o-u-r-t-e-e-n-t-h century. Geez louise. It's acted as a castle for about a million different rulers but it started off as a Moorish Palace. To save time and space, check out the incredible story behind the castle here.

Although there are a ton of other things to see in Granada, it seems like The Alhambra takes the cake. It has a ridiculous number of sections, and each one is more expansive than the last. It's pretty incredible!
